RNDr. Branislav Kura, Ph.D. (H-index 18) is an independent researcher and member of the scientific council at the Institute for Heart Research, Center for Experimental Medicine (CEM) of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS), v.v.i. He is a young scientist focusing on research into the molecular-biological mechanisms of heart diseases. He has published more than 30 works in this field and his work has been cited more than 750 times. He started working as a researcher at the SAS Institute for Heart Research in 2017. Within 2 years, he was promoted to an independent researcher.
In 2018, he completed an internship at the St. Boniface Research Center (Winnipeg, Canada). In 2021, together with colleagues from the institute, they founded the European Academy for Molecular Hydrogen Research in Biomedicine, n.o. (https://www.euh2academy.org), where he holds the position of chairman of the board of directors. In 2022, he was Chair of the meeting of the 1st International Conference of the European Academy for Molecular Hydrogen Research in Biomedicine. In the same year, he became a Board member of the International Society for Adaptive Medicine (ISAM). In the years 2018-2020, Dr. Kura actively participated in the teaching process of students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University in Bratislava. At CEM SAS, he holds the position of a member of the Ethics Committee.
